Cats Get the Cream

LONDON Amatory Asylum brings its carnal carnival to the luxurious Wellington Club for Halloween. Lucy Kale

The mix of audience-immersive theatre, physical performance and dance party is brought to the Wellington by the House of Kittens; the theatre company that knows how to tell an erotic tale.

Amatory Asylum brings a rare collection of those stories to the night through conceptual dance and theatre pieces which aim to engage audiences in a new, liberated theatrical movement that puts wanton girl power at its core.

Guests will become medical observers in the surreal, sensual world of Dr Lili La Fleur, head of the Asylum and presiding physician of sexual psychological studies.

Elsewhere the Scientific-Humanitarian Committee will invite audiences to record the outré acts that they see in ‘inflammatory experimentation’ and psychosexual therapy.

Then head off to the annual Amatory Asylum Ball to mingle with the newly liberated ladies of the night.

Founder and director Sophie Cohen is the high priestess behind it all and Amatory Asylum will be the first event set in the luxury of the newly reopened Wellington Members Club on Jermyn Street, one of the most daring and exciting private members bars in London.

Expect 12 individual romance-to-kink performances lasting up to 16 minutes and performed across two floors.
