Delta Air Lines Celebrates London's Jet Set


Thursday night saw Delta Air Lines host “Delta Presents” at Stamford Bridge, home of Chelsea Football Club. The party took place at “Under the Bridge” to celebrate the airline’s growing presence in London its partnership as the official airline of Chelsea. Chris Page (8 Dec ’13)

The exclusive occasion was attended by nearly 500 guests and the red carpet welcomed names such as Game of Thrones actress Natalie Dormer, Made in Chelsea’s Millie Mackintosh (pictured above) Chelsea player  Marco van Ginkel and tennis stars Heather Watson and Tommy Haas.

 DJ Quayne took the party into the early hours of the morning and guests sipped specialty cocktails such as the Delta Sunrise. Entertainment came from magician Harry Keaton while Grammy Award-winning singer, rapper and producer Estelle lit up the party with her signature soul-funk sounds.

 Delta’s profile was enhanced this year with Fortune magazine naming it as ‘the most admired airline worldwide’ and it has topped the list for the second time in three years. The airline offers 10 daily nonstop flights from London to five U.S. cities and, along with joint venture partner Virgin Atlantic, offer nine daily nonstop flights between London-Heathrow and New York – the most important business route across the Atlantic.
