Hotels Arts Barcelona gets set for a Tasty 20th

A 20th gala anniversary featuring the talents of 20-plus Michelin-starred chefs is set to cause a stir at Hotel Arts Barcelona in June. The hotel’s 20th invites guests to experience Spainish culinary excellence with ticket proceeds going to UNICEF. Abigail Parkin (21 May’14)

Tapas dishes will set the gastronomic tone within the gardens of the hotel and the event is headed by Paco Perez, from Hotel Arts’ own double Michelin-starred Enoteca restaurant. Paco Perez and his group of star chefs will convene on Thursday 12th June with acclaimed names including Albert Adria, Joan Roca, Adoni Aduriz, and Marc Gascons.

The feast will start with a drinks reception serving the cava and Catalan wines of Castillo Perelada when a chef white bearing the signatures of all the chefs will be auctioned off to guests. Then they proceed to the cooking stations and meet the chefs – and their dishes – as the gourmet sampling gets under way. The finale will be a ‘spectacular’ dessert creation by Hotel Arts Barcelona pastry chef Sylvain Guyez.

For real luxury try Hotel Arts’ ‘Exclusive Experience’ package for the Royale and presidential suites  on the 42nd floor. The package also includes meetings with chefs as they prepare their signature dish, as well as preferred reservation and VIP access for one year in the restaurants of Albert Adria and Paco Perez.


The ‘Exclusive Experience’ package is available for €20,000 per suite, proceeds to UNICEF.
