LFW opening weekend

While Red Carpet made its return from the Far East, London Fashion Week kicked off with cocktails and parties back home. Chris Page (17 Sept 12)

Friday night saw the Roof Gardens host the PPQ afterparty, sponsored by Tanqueray London Dry Gin. Guests included, VV Brown and Lady Victoria Hervey.

The first night of LFW brought music by DJ Petit Noir, ‘Quatro’ cocktails and PPQ’s founders Amy Molyneaux and Percy Parker to the Roof Gardens to celebrate a successful show.

On Saturday, Moschino held its Cheap and Chic show and afterparty at an abandoned E1 warehouse. In attendance were Kelly Brook, Thom Evans, Daisy Lowe, Alexa Chung, Jade Williams, Zara Martin, Jasmine Guinness, Pixie Lott, Oliver Cheshire, Nicola Roberts, Lauren Laverne and Gizzi Erskine.

The warehouse revived 90s music and when the lights dimmed all eyes were on the catwalk awaiting the Spring/Summer 13 Moschino collection.

Ketel One Vodka was on hand post-show to offer guests Summer Punch’ or ‘Cherry and Vanilla Collins’ cocktails.‘

Elsewhere swish cocktail bar Archer Street has joined the LFW mood by collaborating with Fudge Hair to create must-sip cocktail, The Skyscraper. Archer Street tells us that on purchase of this drink, from 14th-18th September, customers can expect a complimentary sample of Fudge's versatile Skyscraper hairspray!
