The Magnificent Six

The exhibition portrays the contemporary music scene through the collaboration of the "Six Shooter" photographers: Roger Sargent, Mick Hutson, Andy Fallon, Paul Harries, Andy Willsherand Andy Cotterill.

The exhibition runs from 22nd July - 12th September 2010

The exhibition is the culmination of the photographers' assignments at Reading Festival back in 1999 where they separately documented the festival's performers. The project brought unity and lasting friendship among the group and a recognition that the 'magnificent six' are the most sought after in the business. Between them they have shot every notable band and musician you on the scene been published in almost every major publication across the world.

The Six Shooters exhibition includes names such as: Muse, Arctic Monkeys, Paul Weller, Björk, Green Day, Lily Allen, Pete Doherty, The White Stripes,U2, Chris Martin, Dave Grohl, Kasabian, Razorlight, Killers, Jay Z, Jarvis Cocker, Ian Brown, Oasis, Morrissey, REM, Eminem and Marilyn Manson.

The Venue

Proud Galleries was launched in 1998 and now comprises three galleries, a live music venue and a cabaret club. Proud has hosted shows by everyone from Terry O'Neill to Jerry Schatzberg, Gered Mankowitz to Ken Russell with star-studded launch parties.

Six Shooters is the largest exhibition in Proud's history and will be spread over two huge gallery spaces.
