To a place called Vertigo …

Vertigo 42 brings luxury back to the table with the launch of its ‘Champagnes of Autumn Cocktail Collection.’ Its champagne and cocktail combinations certainly raise the bar – to almost 600 ft. Sat Bal (26 Oct 11)

Take the private lift and alight at Vertigo 42 which gives 360 degree view over the City from the 42nd floor of London landmark, Tower 42. At 590 feet above street level the colourful interiors, mirrored corridors and lofty views offer a surreal escape from the London hubbub below - especially when armed with its canapé menu and champagne cocktails.

The autumn fare lists over 30 champagnes and its five new Bellini cocktails mix some unusual ingredients such as yuzu juice (a hybrid citrus used in Japanese cooking), chestnut and even Fino sherry.

“These are drinks with a proper punch,” said Stephane Bogud, bar manager. “Just the thing for livening up people’s spirits. With such incredible panoramic views and a delicious cocktail in hand, the world from up here looks a better place.”

Choose from the following five cocktails, all priced at £14, for the perfect after work social, that special celebration or a catch up with friends:
